ESG workshop with PwC

Right at the beginning of the new year we tuned in to the ESG note. This time, the Promet Group management team met at the Tatra Truck Museum in Kopřivnice to introduce the context of ESG issues and the obligations that await us with non-financial reporting for this year.

Visit from the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic

Daniel Urban, Director General of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, during his trip to the Moravian-Silesian Region also found space for a visit to the TAWESCO plant in Kopřivnice.

The Stecomtra area is bursting with colour

For five years now, STECOMTRA from Nový Jičín has been producing welded frames in a distinctive orange colour. They are part of the vibratory rollers of the German brand HAMM, which are used for asphalt, earthmoving and garden work. An uncovered vehicle could be fatal to the driver in some situations. Our frames should protect him sufficiently.

PROMET FOUNDRY greener than before

The most extensive modernization and greening in the more than 100-year history of our Vsetín foundry PROMET FOUNDRY took almost two years and cost more than 400 million crowns. We focused on minimizing emissions and reducing energy consumption.

We manufacture masts for Swiss antennas

The solid masts will guide the antenna signal throughout Switzerland! They are made by our colleagues from the Paskov company KOFING.

Michael Tělecký is the new Director of Strategy, Development and Acquisitions

Michael's position is new. His role is to support the management of the Group, divisions and individual companies in the preparation of strategies, business development and the implementation of acquisitions of new companies into the group. "I believe that his many years of experience in this area will help us make the most of our potential and find new opportunities in the market," says Denisa Materová, CEO of Promet Group.

Management meeting in Dolní Vítkovice

At the October meeting of the Promet Group leadership team, we let the genius loci of Dolní Vítkovice impress us. We were provided with a modern reconstructed FUTUREUM building, owned by BeePartner a.s., with whom we have been cooperating for a long time.
